Lions suffer in 2nd half vs. Cowboys on Monday night, 42-21
Dez Bryant threw his first career touchdown pass between a pair of scoring catches and Ezekiel Elliott ran for two TDs as the Dallas Cowboys kept the Detroit Lions from clinching a postseason spot with a 42-21 on Monday Night Football.
Detroit's quarterback Matthew Stafford went 26-of-46 for 260 yards, including a costly interception early in the 3rd quarter.
Despite a second straight loss (both to NFC East teams Dallas & the N.Y. Giants) following five consecutive victories, the Lions (9-6) still controls their postseason fate and will look to finally clinch their spot when they host Green Bay (9-6) at Ford Field next Sunday night at 8:30 pm with the NFC North championship on the line.
