Red Wings activate veteran goaltender Chris Osgood
The Detroit Red Wings announced that veteran goaltender Chris Osgood has been removed from the team’s Injured Reserve List. Osgood, 38, has missed 27 games since undergoing successful sports hernia surgery in January. The Red Wings have also announced that 30-year-old netminder Joey MacDonald has been reassigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL).
