Nashville advances to Stanley Cup Finals for 1st time ever
Colton Sissons scored his third goal with 6 minutes left as the Nashville Predators eliminated the Anaheim Ducks with a 6-3 win in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals.
Nashville, who've never won even a division title in their 19-year history, came in with the fewest points of any team in these playoffs. And with that, they've swept the West's top seed in Chicago, eliminated St. Louis in six games in the West semifinals, and have taken out the Pacific Division champs in Anaheim.
While they get set to hit the road to begin the Stanley Cup Finals, the Predators await the winner of the Pittsburgh/Ottawa series. Currently, the Penguins lead the series 3-2 with Game 6 to be played in Ottawa this Tuesday night.
