Tigers suffer hangover after going down to A's, 5-3

A day after celebrating their AL Central championship, the Detroit Tigers managed to score three runs on 11 hits, but Oakland had 12 hits and stringing them together to score five runs to defeat the Tigers, 5-3.

Porcello gave up a few singles early, but he managed to pitch seven innings to keep his team in the game, allowing nine hits.

Victor Martinez went 2-for-4, knowing that his team is fighting with Boston, Tampa Bay and Texas to host the first round of the playoffs.
