Red Wings wipe out Jets for 9th straight win at home, 7-1
Jiri Hudler scored twice and the Detroit Red Wings beat the Winnipeg Jets, 7-1 for their ninth straight home victory.
Red Wings led 2-1 after the 1st period, then scored four answered goals in the second. Valtteri Filppula, Todd Bertuzzi and Henrik Zetterberg each had a goal and an assist, and Chris Conner, Drew Miller also scored for Detroit. Johan Franzen and Pavel Datsyuk each had two assists, and Jimmy Howard made 29 saves.
