Late rally dooms Red Wings against Nashville, 4-3
Shea Weber scored two goals late in the third period, including one with a man advantage, to give the Nashville Predators a 4-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings. Tomas Holmstrom, Henrik Zetterberg, and Nicklas Lidstrom scored for the Red Wings, who snapped a three-game win streak.
Holmstrom scored the game’s first goal at 5:15 of the opening period. Lidstrom gave Detroit a 3-1 lead with 8:30 left in the second. Detroit native David Legwand and Jordin Tootoo also scored for Nashville to give the Predators their fourth straight victory.
