Late rally falls short as Red Wings lose to Calgary, 3-2
Curtis Glencross scored twice, including the game-winner, to lead the Calgary Flames to a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings. Jiri Hudler and Ian White scored third-period goals for the Red Wings, who have lost two straight. Conklin finished with 24 saves for Detroit.
Glencross scored the winner at 5:47 of the second period when broke into the Detroit zone on a 2-on-1, he fired a low shot that bounced off the post and in behind Red Wings goalie Ty Conklin to put Calgary up 3-0.
