[/url]Corey Crawford made 31 saves to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to a 2-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings. Valtteri Filppula scored a power-play goal for NHL-leading Detroit, which had won six in a row. Jimmy Howard had 27 saves in his first action since being sidelined for two weeks with a broken right index finger. The Red Wings were without leading scorer Pavel Datsyuk. He had arthroscopic surgery to remove fragments from his right knee and is expected to be sidelined for two weeks.
Red Wings F Dan Cleary was activated from injured reserve and played against the Blackhawks. He missed the previous five games with a lower body injury
