Tigers pitching staff so ready to start playing for real the 2012 Season 20120213

Being down at Lakeland watching pitchers and catchers work out I do see a fire in their eye. So determined to really get this season started. The last they saw was a 15-5 loss in Texas at the American League Championship Series last fall.

Justin Verlander leading this pitching staff mentioned that, "We are ready and focus to get the job done". Besides Verlander righthander Doug Fister a great find last season shows that they are not satisfied at where they were last year.

The oldest pitcher on this staff is Verlander that is 28, even the bullpen wants to get this season started. Lefty Phil Coke a great two inning reliever and closing games righthander Jose Valverde.
