Detroit comes back and wins in 11 innings 13-12 over the Red Sox for the sweep of the series

The Tigers knew when they left Spring Training that they can put up runs at will. The question was can they dictate how the game in directed and they sure did come up big against the Red Sox winning in comeback fashion in 11 innings 13-12.

Detroit's Max Scherzer lasted until the third inning allowing seven runs and Detroit started their comebacks scoring two in the fifth tying game at 7 after 5.

Tigers down 10-7 in the bottom of the ninth and Miguel Cabrera came up to bat and hit a game tying three run homer to even the score at 10.

Boston put two in the top of the eleventh leading 12-10, then in the bottom of the inning Detroit's Alex Avila connected on a game winning three run homer to cap off a comeback that the Tigers did three seperate times in this game.
