Tigers rally in 8th inning to take down Reds, 7-6
Austin Jackson homered and hit a two-run double off Aroldis Chapman during a four-run 8th inning as the Detroit Tigers rallied to a 7-6 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.
Chapman gave up a single to Brennan Boesch and hit Matt Young with a pitch that forced in a run. Then Jackson's double tied the game at six and Young scored the go-ahead run on Chapman's wild pitch that helped the Tigers take two out of three in the weekend series.
Interleague action continues this Tuesday night when the Tigers visit Wrigley Field to face the Chicago Cubs. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
