New schedule features Super Bowl champs at Ford Field
The 2013 NFL schedule has been releaased and for the Detroit Lions, they will host a Monday night game at Ford Field for the third straight season. Their opponent will be none other than the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens and the two teams will meet on December 16th. The Lions' Thanksgiving game will be against their divison rival Green Bay Packers. Notable road games include a trip to Washington to face Robert Griffin III & the Redskins and a trip to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers, who won Super Bowl XL at Ford Field. The season begins September 8th with a home game against Minnesota.
