Red Wings on the brink after 3-2 OT loss to Anaheim

Unable to build on two leads or convert during a nearly 5-minute long power play, the Detroit Red Wings ended up losing Game 5, 3-2, in overtime to the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center.
Johan Franzen scored on an early powerplay and Mikael Samuelsson made it 2-1 in the second period. Kyle Palmieri and and Ryan Getzlaf scored in regulation for Anaheim and Nick Bonino added in the game-winner 1:54 into overtime.
Trailing 3-2 in the Western Conference quarterfinals, the Red Wings return home to the Joe Louis Arena for Game 6 this Friday night in hopes of forcing a Game 7 this Sunday in Anaheim.
