Tigers end weekend series with 4-1 win over Royals
Detroit Tigers' starter Doug Fister pitched for six innings and salvaged a 4-1 win out of the three-game series against the Kansas City Royals.
Miguel Cabrera recorded his 31st homerun of the year and reliever Joaquin Benoit has now recorded eight consecutive scoreless innings over his last nine appearances.
Next stop for the Tigers will be Chicago to face the White Sox in a four-game series, starting this Monday night at 8 pm.
