Verlander & Kelly help Tigers win 10 straight vs. Indians, 5-1

Justin Verlander provided a MVP-like performance as he aided the Detroit Tigers in overwhelming the Cleveland Indians, 5-1, at Progressive Field. Verlander pitched eight innings, allowing only four hits, one run, no walks, and struck out seven batters.

The Tigers scored all of their runs in the 5th inning, including Don Kelly’s three-run homerun. He went 3-for-3 on the night and is .458 lifetime with two homeruns & eights RBIs against Cleveland's starting picther Justin Masterson.

Detroit will play their third game of the 4-game series against the Indians in Cleveland this Wednesday night at 7 pm.
