Howard, Jr. scores 35 in UDM's loss to Valpo, 78-70
Juwan Howard, Jr. recorded a career-high 35 points, and yet it wasn't enough as the Detroit Titans suffered another frustrating loss by losing 78-70 to the Valparaiso Crusaders at Calihan Hall.
Howard went 13-of-23 from the field, 3-of-6 from three-point range, and 6-of-9 from the free throw line in setting his career high all while adding four rebounds and four assists. Freshman guard Matthew Grant finished with 14 points, which included four 3-pointers, while Evan Bruinsma had 10 points, four steals, and two rebounds.
Detroit will hit the road for a week, starting with Youngstown State this Saturday night at 7pm before heading to the state of Wisconsin to face Milwaukee & Green Bay.
