UDM men's coach gets win #100; Titan women struggle at U-M
Junior guard Anton Wilson scored a career-high 20 points on 7-of-8 shooting as the Detroit Titans opened their 110th season with a 77-54 victory over the Rochester Warriors at Calihan Hall.
Senior forward Juwan Howard Jr. finished with 16 points and freshman Paris Bass contributed with 13points. The win also marked the 100th for UDM head coach Ray McCallum, making him just the fourth coach in history to record 100 or more wins. He joins Bob Calihan (306), Perry Watson (261), and Lloyd Brazil (185).
Next up for the Titans is a trip to Oregon to face the Ducks as part of the College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon this Monday night at 11 pm ET.
