Datsyuk helps Red Wings play lights out against Canucks, 5-3
Pavel Datsyuk scored twice as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Vancouver Canucks, 5-3, for their fourth straight victory. After 29 seconds had past to start the game, part of the Joe Louis Arena, including the Vancouver zone, went dark after a minor power failure, which delayed the game for 33 minutes.
Niklas Kronwall, Danny DeKeyser, & Gustav Nyquist also scored, Henrik Zetterberg had two assists, and goaltender Jimmy Howard made 30 saves for Detroit.
The Red Wings will play their second game of their four-game home stretch this week against Florida this Tuesday night at 7:30 pm.
