Losing streak continues as Pistons fall to Warriors, 104-93
Playing about an hour south of his hometown in Saginaw, Michigan State alumni Draymond Green helped Golden State with 20 points as the Warriors handed the Detroit Pistons their eighth straight loss with a 104-93 victory to extend their winning streak at nine.
The Pistons' eighth straight loss is the longest streak of Stan Van Gundy's head coaching career and have matched his career worst at 11 games under .500. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led Detroit with 23 points.
The Pistons' (3-14) next game will be this Tuesday night inside the Palace of Auburn Hills at 7:30 pm against their old NBA Finals foe, the Los Angeles Lakers, who virtually have the same record as Detroit does.
