Frustration continues to build as Pistons fall to Boston in OT
Jeff Green scored 32 points, including a 3-pointer as Boston opened overtime with eight straight points, as the Celtics snapped their five-game losing streak by defeating the Detroit Pistons, 109-102. The loss was the 10th in a row for Detroit.
Greg Monroe scored 15 of his 29 points late in the 4th quarter and Andre Drummond had 27 points, 14 rebounds, four steals, & five blocked shots, including Green's potential game-winner at the end of regulation, for the Pistons.
Detroit will return home to the Palace of Auburn Hills for the next three games over the weekend in hopes of breaking their losing streak, beginning with this Saturday night at 7:30 when they host Philadelphia, who got their first win of the season after beating Minnesota, 85-77, to avoid tying the worst start in NBA history. The 76ers now stand at 1-17.
