MSU's early struggles cost Spartans against Georgia, 69-60
Tiaria Griffin scored 15 points, including four free throws in the final minute, as the Georgia Bulldogs, who led by 23 points in the 1st half, remained undefeated (10-0) in beating the Michigan State Spartans, 69-60.
Aerial Powers had 18 points and nine rebounds for the Spartans (5-2), which ended her streak of six straight double-doubles. Jasmine Hines had 12 points and Becca Mills had eight points & 10 rebounds.
Michigan State will take a week off and return to action next Sunday (12/14) when they travel to Chicago to face former Horizon League member, Loyola at 3 pm.
