Richard Panik scored the go-ahead goal and goalie Jonathan Bernier stopped 27 shots to help the Toronto Maple Leafs defeat the Detroit Red Wings 4-1. Toronto outshot Detroit, 41-28.

Niklas Kronwall scored for the Red Wings and goaltender Petr Mrazek had 37 saves. Detroit has now lost three straight games, which includes a pair of shootouts.

The Red Wings will take the rest of the weekend off and return home to the Joe Louis Arena to begin a 4-game home stretch, beginning with this Tuesday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7:30 pm.
