MSU women unable to get past Ohio State on the road, 76-62
Despite sophomore forward Aerial Powers earning her NCAA-leading 18th double-double of the season, the Michigan State Spartans had their two-game winning streak stopped by the Ohio State Buckeyes, 76-62. With the loss, the Spartans even their record at 11-11 (3-8 Big Ten) while Ohio State improves to 15-7 (7-3 Big Ten).
Leading Michigan State was Powers, who scored 25 points and recorded 13 rebounds. It's her 14th 20-point game of the season. Sophomore Tori Janksoska added 19 points and six assists while senior forward Becca Mills led in rebounds with ten to go along with five assists.
The Spartans will travel to Minnesota this Sunday afternoon to face the Golden Gophers at 3 pm.
