Price helps bring Tigers out of slump with 2-1 win over Royals
Starting pitcher David Price allowed only five hits for his 12th career complete game -- the first by Detroit this season -- as the Tigers earned a 2-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals.
Anthony Gose had three of the Tigers' seven hits, including a double in the 5th inning. He scored on Ian Kinsler's RBI single to make it 2-0.
Detroit will conclude their four-game weekend series at Kansas City this Sunday afternoon at 2 pm.
