Four errors spoil shootout as Tigers lose to Rangers, 7-6
Drew Stubbs, who had entered the game only an inning before, ran down Ian Kinsler's drive in the right-center gap with two runners on base as the AL West-leading Texas Rangers defeated the Detroit Tigers, 7-6.
Despite four errors committed in the game by Detroit, J.D. Martinez became the first Tigers outfielder since 2008 to reach 100 RBIs with a two-run homerun, his 38th of the season, in the 1st inning.
The Tigers will conclude their three-game series with the Rangers in Texas this Wednesday night at 8 pm.
