Royals off to quick 2-0 start; Mets take Game 1 of NLCS
Ben Zobrist's flyball that fell in for a hit began a five-run rally against former Detroit Tiger David Price in the 7th inning as the Kansas City Royals went on to a 6-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays to take 2-0 lead in the American League Championship Series. Game 3 is set for this Monday night in Toronto at 8 pm.
Matt Murphy pitched over seven innings to help the New York Mets defeat the Chicago Cubs, 4-2, in their NL Championship Series opener. Game 2 is set for this Sunday night at 8 pm, with Chicago ace Jake Arrieta facing Mets rookie Noah Syndergaard.
