Datsyuk scores #300, but Red Wings fall to Bruins in OT, 3-2
Frank Vatrano scored his second goal of the game at 3:32 of overtime to help the Boston Bruins to a 3-2 victory over the Detroit Red Wings.
At 2:26 of the 2nd period, Pavel Datsyuk scored his 300th career goal, making him the sixth player in Detroit history with at least 300 goals, 500 assists, and 800 points. The others are Henrik Zetterberg, Sergei Fedorov, Steve Yzerman, Alex Delvecchio and Gordie Howe.
The six-game home stretch continues on Black Friday when the Red Wings play the second game against Edmonton at 7:30 pm inside the Joe Louis Arena.
