Datsyuk returns as Red Wings handle Philadelphia, 5-2
After defeating Ottawa, 4-3, this past Monday, Pavel Datsyuk returned to action after being injured and scored twice to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.
Stephen Weiss, Tomas Jurco, and Henrik Zetterberg also scored for the Wings, who eventually made the Flyers switch goalies in the 2nd period. Goaltender Jimmy Howard made 22 saves as Detroit won their second straight game.
While fans are out catching deals on Black Friday, the Red Wings will make a quick stop in New Jersey to play the Devils at 7 pm before hosting four games at the Joe next week.
