Cleveland wipes out Boston in 5 games to claim the East title
Kyrie Irving scored 24 points and Kevin Love finished with 15 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers, who never trailed & led by as many as 39 points, destroyed the Boston Celtics, 135-102, to claim their third straight Eastern Conference championship in five games.
Deron Williams contributed with 14 points for Cleveland, who set an NBA record by winning their 13th consecutive series closeout opportunity.
After resting over the Memorial Day weekend, the Cavaliers will back their bags and head to Oakland to take on the Western Conference champion Golden State Warriors for the 3rd straight time in the NBA Finals.
