Tigers sick to their stomachs (literally) with loss to O's, 5-1
With half the team down with a stomach virus, the Tigers couldn't get any offense going as the Baltimore Orioles remained perfect (4-0) with a 5-1 win over Detroit. Will Rhymes was the reason the Tigers didn't get shut out, recording a couple of hits with a RBI to his credit. Rick Porcello pitched 5 innings and recorded 4 strikeouts, but not without giving up 5 runs (one in the 2nd & four in the 5th), including a 3-run homerun by Brian Roberts.
The Tigers (1-3) look to get over their stomach problems in time to face the Orioles Wednesday night in Baltimore. The game is set to begin at 7 pm ET.
