Last night, both Chicago & Cleveland lost, however so did the Tigers. With Oakland snapping Detroit's 12-game winning streak, the Tigers' magic number down to 1 over Cleveland. Tonight, Detroit could win the AL Central while they're playing the A's if Cleveland loses at Minnesota. Otherwise, all the Tigers need is one more win and a division party can begin after midnight.

NL EAST - After knocking out Florida twice in a doubleheader last night, Philadelphia, with their magic number at 2, could join the Tigers in a division celebration with a win against St. Louis and an Atlanta loss against the N.Y. Mets.

NL WEST - With the day off, Arizona's magic number stalls once again at 6 as San Francisco defeated Colorado, 8-5.

NL CENTRAL - Milwaukee, with a magic number number of 8, resumes their quest for a division title tonight at Cincinnati while St. Louis tangles with Philadelphia.

NL WILD CARD - With the magic number at 9, Atlanta resumes play tonight against the N.Y. Mets as they hold on to the lead over St. Louis.

AL EAST - With the N.Y. Yankees having the night off, their magic number was reduced to 10, thanks to Boston losing to Tampa Bay last night.

AL WEST - Texas' magic number went down to 10 after defeating Cleveland, 7-4.

AL WILD CARD - Boston's magic number remains 11 after Tampa Bay beat them, moving them 3 games back behind the Red Sox.
