Pistons suffer rough night in Chicago against the Bulls, 83-71
Luol Deng had 20 points and nine rebounds as the shorthanded Detroit Pistons lost to the equally-shorthanded Chicago Bulls, 83-71. The Bulls have won 14 straight over the Pistons, dating back to December 23, 2008.
Rookie Brandon Knight led Detroit with 16 points. Greg Monroe had 14 points & 10 rebounds and Tayshaun Prince scored 14. Austin Daye, starting at shooting guard, had 11 points.
Both Ben Gordon (sore right groin) and Rodney Stuckey (sore left hamstring) were out for the Pistons. Meanwhile , the Bulls were without reigning league MVP Derrick Rose, who missed his ninth straight game with a right groin injury, and former Piston Richard Hamilton missed his 14th straight with a bruised shoulder.
