Pistons take a beat down by Atlanta, 116-84
Just one night after beating Cleveland by 39, the Detroit Pistons were hammered by the Atlanta Hawks, 116-84. Six Hawks scored in double figures, led by former Piston Tracy McGrady with 17 points off the bench.
Greg Monroe led the Pistons with 17 points while Walker Russell scored 15 points in just 12 minutes. Charlie Villanueva, who recently got back into the rotation, scored 14 points in 19 minutes.
The Hawks shot 49% (42-for-85) from the field and made 24-of-29 free throws. Detroit shot just 35% (32-for-92).
