Miami eliminates New York; Memphis hangs on in Game 5
Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade both scored 19 points as the Miami Heat beat the short-handed New York Knicks, 106-94 in Game 5 to close out their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series, 4-1. The Heat will remain in Miami as they host the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of their Eastern semifinals this Sunday afternoon.
Blake Griffin sprained his left knee, Chris Paul went to the Clippers' bench with a sore right hip, and another late comeback fizzled against the Memphis Grizzlies that got back to its bruising, grinding style to survive elimination with a 92-80 victory over Los Angeles. Game 6 of the Western Conference quarterfinal series will take place inside the Staples Center in L.A. this Friday night.
