Spurs defeat Thunder, 120-111 to lead 2-0 in West Finals
Tony Parker had 34 points & eight assists and Manu Ginobili added 20 points as the San Antonio Spurs stayed perfect in the playoffs with a 120-111 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.
The Spurs set an NBA record with their 20th consecutive victory, bridging the regular season and the playoffs. They came in sharing the longest such streak with the 2000-01 L.A. Lakers, who won 19 straight before losing to Philadelphia in the first game of the NBA Finals. Those Lakers went on to win the championship that year.
With a 2-0 series lead, the Suprs look to continue the streak in Game 3 this Thursday night in Oklahoma City.
