Doug Fister took a perfect game into the sixth inning and ended up with a complete game four hitter as the Tigers beat the Indians 6-1.
Fister (6-7) retired his first 17 batters, finished with six strikeouts throwing 107 pitches and 73 of them were strikes. Detroit put up two in the second and three more in the fourth led by Jhonny Peralta's two run triple.
Prince Fielder had two more hits, the Tigers are 1.5 games behind the White Sox for first place in the American League Central Division.
