Rough night for Chippewas as they fall to Navy, 31-13
The Central Michigan Chippewas stayed with Navy through two-and-a-half quarters, but the Midshipmen scored two unanswered touchdowns in the latter half of the 3rd quarter to claim a 31-13 victory over CMU.
Central Michigan (2-4) pulled within four points of the Midshipmen (3-3) after a touchdown from senior quarterback Ryan Radcliff to sophomore receiver Titus Davis and a 22-yard field goal by senior David Harman, but Navy pulled away in the third.
The Chippewas will continue their four-game homestand against Ball State next Saturday for homecoming. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 kickoff.
