Celtics & Rockets stay alive; Pacers go up 3-2

Kevin Garnett had 16 points and 18 rebounds as the Boston Celtics stayed alive in the playoffs by cutting New York Knicks' lead to 3-2 with a 92-86 victory. The Celtics will host Game 6 this Friday night at the TD Garden. Boston needs two victories to become the first NBA team to overcome a 3-0 deficit to win a series.




David West broke out of a series-long funk to score 24 points and Paul George finished with another double-double as the Indiana Pacers pulled away for a 106-83 victory to take a 3-2 lead over the Atlanta Hawks. If the Pacers end a 13-game losing streak at Atlanta this Friday, they would win this best-of-seven series and advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals for the second straight year.





James Harden scored 31 points and sank seven 3-pointers while fighting flu-like symptoms as the Houston Rocketsdefeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 107-100, to pull within 3-2 in their first-round playoff series. Harden made the first seven 3s he tried and Houston led by as many as 16 to win its second straight, getting halfway to becoming the first team in NBA history to overcome an 0-3 series deficit. Game 6 is set for this Friday night in Houston.
