Shootouts continue to plague Red Wings after losing to TB, 2-1
Even though they earned another point in the standings, the Detroit Red Wings dropped another game in a shootout, this time losing to the Tampa Bay Lightning, 2-1, at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
Martin St. Louis had the only Tampa Bay goal in the shootout, beating Jonas Gustavsson with a short and quick forehand. Kyle Quincey scored in regulation, but Detroit went 0-for-4 in powerplays.
The Red Wings return home to the Joe Louis Arena this Saturday night where they will face their Eastern Conference rival Pittsburgh Penguins at 7 pm.
