Pistons get a well-deserved win in Washington, 104-98
After enduring a setback against Utah last Friday, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope played a team-high 41 minutes and his two key defensive plays in the last three minutes helped the Detroit Pistons (17-23) to a much-needed 104-98 victory over the Washington Wizards.
Detroit have now won three of their last four games and moved to 10-10 on the road. Rodney Stuckey scored 20 points, Kyle Singler recorded 14 points on 5-for-6 shooting, and Andre Drummond finished with 10 points & 13 rebounds.
The Pistons will celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at the Palace of Auburn Hills this Monday with an early afternoon game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Game time is set for 1 pm.
