Datsyuk scores late in the 3rd to give Red Wings 1-0 win & lead
The Detroit Red Wings got a huge opening boost in their first-round series against the Presidents’ Trophy champion Boston Bruins as they left TD Garden with a 1-0 victory to give them a 1-0 advantage in the quarterfinal series.
Pavel Datsyuk scored with three minutes to go in regulation by getting past Bruins goaltender Milan Lucic.
Detroit will look to increase their lead when they face Boston in Game 2 this Easter Sunday at 3 pm.
