Datsyuk & Tatar score late to help Red Wings shutout Florida, 3-0
Pavel Datsyuk scored twice in a span of a minute & eight seconds midway through the 3rd period after Tomas Tatar broke a scoreless tie earlier and goaltender Petr Mrazek made 23 saves to help the Detroit Red Wings earn a 3-0 shutout victory over the Florida Panthers.
Mrazek earned his career-high fourth shutout this season to help Detroit gain more ground in the Atlantic Divison, who are currently in a three-way tie for second place with 62 points, along with Tampa Bay & Boston.
Up next for the Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena is Ottawa as they get ready to take on the Senators this Wednesday night at 7 pm.
