Texas A&M hangs on; Clemson & Arkansas roll to victory
Kyle Allen threw for four touchdowns and ran for a fifth as the Texas A&M Aggies came from 10 points down to defeat the West Virginia Mountaineers, 45-37, at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee. Texas A&M has now won bowl games in four straight seasons for the first time in school history.
Cole Stoudt threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Clemson Tigers tore apart the Oklahoma Sooners, 40-6, at the Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The Tigers (10-3) reached double-digit victories for the fourth consecutive season.
Brandon Allen threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns as the Arkansas Razorbacks cruised to a 31-7 win over the Texas Longhorns at the Texas Bowl in Houston. It's the Razorbacks' first bowl appearance since 2011. It also was the first game between these former Southwest Conference rivals since 2008 and ends a two-game skid in the series for Arkansas.
