MAC teams go 2-1 on the night; U-M women fall to Ohio St.
John Simons scored 18 points and tied his career-high with 13 rebounds as the Central Michigan Chippewas defeated the Ohio Bobcats, 68-57, at the Convocation Center in Athens, OH.
Rayshawn Simmons added 14 points and Austin Stewart had nine points for the Chippewas, who made just 21% of their three-pointers, but forced 14 Ohio turnovers.
Central Michigan (17-5, 7-4 MAC) will spend Valentine's Day on the road this Saturday afternoon when they take on Buffalo at 2 pm.

Michigan led by 13 points midway through the 2nd half until Ohio State closed the game out on a 28-11 run as the Buckeyes defeatd the Wolverines, 77-73, at Value City Arena.
Senior Nicole Elmblad recorded her second double-double of the season, finishing with 14 points and a career-best 15 rebounds for U-M. Shannon Smith added 18 points, seven rebounds, & four assists while Cyesha Goree finished the night with 14 points & nine rebounds.
Michigan (14-10, 6-7 Big Ten) will return to home to Ann Arbor this Saturday afternoon for a special Valentine's Day game against Northwestern. Game time is set for 2 pm.
