Charlie Lee scored 17 points and Trey Lewis added 16 points to lead the #4 Cleveland State Vikings to a 70-53 win over the #5 Detroit Titans in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Horizon League tournament that was held in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Chris Jenkins led Detroit (15-18) with 14 points, Jarrod Williams added 12 points, and Paris Bass contributed with 10 points.  However, senior Juwan Howard Jr., the leading scorer for the Titans averaging 17.9 points a game, was held to only three points on a 3-pointer with 3 seconds left in the game.

Cleveland State (18-13) will now face #1 Valparaiso this Saturday night in the semifinals at 9:30 pm ET.

Lance Whitaker nailed a 3-pointer and Ahman Fells followed up with a layup down the stretch as the UIC Flames held on to defeat the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, 72-69, in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Horizon League tournament.

Dante Williams and Kahlil Felder each had 21 points to lead Oakland.  In addition, Williams made 6-of-7 from three-point range.

The Flames move on to play #2 Green Bay in the semifinals this Saturday night at 7 pm on the campus of Valparaiso University.

The #1 Maryland Terrapins, in their first year as a member of the Big Ten, defeated the #9 Michigan State Spartans, 70-60, in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Big Ten women's tournament.

Aerial Powers had 26 points & 10 rebounds and Tori Jankoska added 19 points for the Spartans, who finished the season at 16-15.

As for Maryland, they move on to the semifinals to play #4 Northwestern this Saturday evening at 6 pm.
