Lead slips away late as Pistons fall to Hornets, 108-101
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist put up 10 points and six rebounds without an assist to help the Charlotte Hornets pick up a 108-101 win over the Detroit Pistons.
Greg Monroe had 18 points & 11 rebounds, but Detroit continued to struggle from outside, going 3-of-14 on three-pointers. To make matters worse, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Jodie Meeks combined for only 12 second-half points on 3-of-15 shooting.
The Pistons will attempt to break out of their slump when they go on a four-game west coast trip, beginning this Tuesday night at the Staples Center against the L.A. Lakers. Game time is set for 10:30 pm ET
