Despite 42 shots, Red Wings fall at the Joe to Columbus, 3-1
Scott Hartnell scored the go-ahead goal and goalie Sergei Bobrovsky made 41 saves to help the Columbus Blue Jackets defeat the Detroit Red Wings, 3-1.
Justin Abdelkader had the lone goal for the Red Wings and goaltender Jimmy Howard made 23 saves.
Detroit will spend the weekend in the state of Pennsylvania, starting with Philadelphia this Saturday afternoon at 1 pm.
