43-year-old Jagr scores as Red Wings lose to Florida, 3-1
43-year-old Jaromir Jagr scored his 718th NHL goal, moving into 5th place on the career list, and added an assist as the Florida Panthers came away with a 3-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings.
Erik Cole had the lone goal for Detroit and goaltender Petr Mrazek stopped 29 shots, but it wasn't enough as the Red Wings lost for the fifth time in seven games.
Detroit will swing by Tampa Bay this Friday night to visit team president Steve Yzerman and the Lightning. Game time is set for 7:30 pm.
