#8 NC State knocks out #1 Villanova; Princeton women go 31-0
The #8 North Carolina State Wolfpack returned to the Sweet 16 after eliminating the #1 Villanova Wildcats, 71-68, in the 3rd round of the 2015 NCAA men's tournament.
Trevor Lacey led NC State with 17 points while Cat Barber contributed with 13 points.
The Wolfpack (22-13) will move on to Syracuse, New York, to compete in the Sweet 16 of the East region against the winner of the Louisville-Northern Iowa game, which will take place this Sunday.

After trailing at halftime with United States President Barack Obama in attendance, the #8 Princeton Tigers rallied back to improve to 31-0 by defeating the #9 Green Bay Phoenix, 80-70, in the 1st round of the 2015 NCAA women's tournament.
Michelle Miller led the Tigers with 20 points and Annie Tarakchian contributed with 19 points. Another key factor for Princeton was a 49-22 rebounding edge over Green Bay.
Even though Obama's niece, freshman forward Leslie Robinson, did not appear in the game, the Tigers advanced to the 2nd round of the Spokane region and will face #1 Maryland on the Terrapins' home floor this Monday.
