Arizona pulls off upset of Red Wings in OT at the Joe, 5-4
Mark Arcobello scored his second goal of the game in overtime and goalie Mike Smith made 33 saves to lead the Arizona Coyotes past the Detroit Red Wings, 5-4.
Luke Glendening, Justin Abdelkader, Jakub Kindl, & Gustav Nyquist scored for the Red Wings and goaltender Jimmy Howard made only 17 saves.
Detroit will be back on the ice at the Joe Louis Arena this Thursday night when they host their old Western Conference rival San Jose at 7:30 pm.
